Built from the inside out
OshriKa was created by someone who worked inside a senior care facility and saw why alert escalation, local operation, and better documentation matter.

The origin story
OshriKa was born from firsthand experience in senior care facilities. Working inside a senior home, our founder watched alerts route to one place, with no fallback if nobody happened to be there.
Hours disappeared into manual documentation written from memory at the end of long shifts. Staff carried the weight of response communication that depended on chance, not on system design.
Traditional nurse call systems were designed decades ago. They send one alert to one place and count on one person happening to be there. Then staff fill out paper forms from memory.
OshriKa routes alerts to the right staff, escalates if nobody responds, and drafts the documentation staff are required to maintain.
Our values
The principles that guide our decisions.
Reliability first
When someone needs help at 3 AM, nothing else matters but that alert reaching staff. Design decisions start here.
Privacy by design
Facility data stays in the building. The facility, not a tech company, controls access and retention.
Staff-centred
We build tools that reduce burden, not add to it. Features are designed to help staff focus on what matters: care.
Continuous improvement
Smart insights help facilities identify patterns and improve response times. Data drives better outcomes.
Built in Nova Scotia
Based in Nova Scotia, OshriKa is built with Canadian healthcare requirements in mind: on-premises data custody, health-sector-grade security, and privacy-first architecture. Built for Nova Scotia first, with the same model serving care facilities across Canada.
